The Hunt · Jessup, Maryland
Know what you own.
Find the next one.
Our own collector car market platform, built on years of auction data. It tells you what your cars are worth this week, and it goes looking for the next one while you're asleep.
Ask what your car is worth and you'll get a national index telling you the category moved 3% last quarter. That number is about somebody else's car. Yours has a spec, a mileage, a history and a market of maybe forty people. That's the number worth knowing, and it's the one nobody was building.
What It Does
Three jobs, all of them yours.
It isn't a listings site and it isn't a price guide. It's built around the cars you actually own and the ones you're actually looking for.
- 01
What your cars are worth, this week
Every car you own gets a live page. Not a national index telling you the category moved 3%. Your specific car, your spec, your mileage, with the sales behind the number sitting right underneath so you can argue with it.
- Current value as a range, never a single made up figure
- The comparable sales the range came from, listed
- What moved this month and which cars caused it
- Recall data and a VIN decode on every car
- 02
A search that runs while you're asleep
Tell it what you're looking for, in as much detail as you want, and leave it alone. It watches the market for you and tells you the moment something matches. No refreshing a dozen sites every night.
- Unlimited saved hunts and want lists
- An alert the moment a match lands
- An alert when a car you already watch hits your number
- Cars that failed to meet reserve, which is where the motivated sellers are
- 03
The cars the public never sees
Some of what we find never reaches a listing site at all. Members hear about those first, because we're a real business with real deal flow rather than a forum with a classifieds section.
- Off market cars before they go anywhere public
- New car allocations through actual dealer relationships
- Member cars listed to members first
- A week on the member board before anything goes public
Why Us
A club can't build
this. We already did.
Telling you what a specific car is worth takes a data operation, and ours has been running for years. That's not something a club with a committee and a newsletter can stand up, which is why nobody else within a hundred miles offers it.
The rest of it takes a real business. Off market cars and allocations reach us because we buy, sell and store collector cars every week. Deal flow isn't a feature you can code. You either have it or you're reposting listings.
-
You always see the comps
Every range comes with the sales it was built from. If you disagree, you can see exactly where we're wrong, which is the only honest way to publish a number.
-
It says when it doesn't know
Some cars trade twice a decade. On those we tell you the data is thin rather than inventing a confident range you might price a sale on.
-
Your garage stays yours
What you own is visible to you. Nothing about your collection is public, indexed or sold on, and that isn't a setting you have to go and find.

The Hunt Report
What we're seeing in the collector market, once a month, written by the people running the platform. No account needed.
- What actually moved last month, and the cars that caused it
- Results worth knowing about, with the numbers attached
- A handful of cars we think are mispriced right now
- What we saw fail to sell, which tells you more than what sold
$250, one off
One Car, Valued
Pick a car you own, or one you're thinking about buying. We research it properly and send back a range with the sales behind it.
- A value range for your exact car, not the category
- The comparable sales the range is built from, listed and dated
- What your spec, mileage and condition do to that number
- Where the market for it has moved over the last year
Back within 5 business days. Credited in full if you join within 90 days.

Before you ask.
Is the report the same thing as The Hunt?
No. The report is a monthly email anyone can sign up for, and it's free. The Hunt is the platform itself, with your own cars valued on it and your own searches running. That comes with membership.
Do I have to store a car with you to use it?
No. Storage and membership are separate things. Plenty of members keep their cars at home and join for the valuations, the searches and the community.
What kind of cars does it cover?
Collector cars of any era and any country. Air cooled 911s, JDM icons, American muscle, vintage, modern exotics. We don't keep an approved list, because the lists other clubs keep are how they end up excluding the most interesting cars in the region.
Can I just get one car valued without joining anything?
Yes. A single car valuation is $250, it comes back within five business days, and you don't have to join or store anything to buy one. If you do join within 90 days, the fee comes off your first year.
Where does the valuation come from?
Years of accumulated auction and sale data, weighted toward cars that genuinely compare to yours. You always see the sales the number came from, so you can judge the reasoning rather than trust a figure. When the data is thin on a car, we say so instead of inventing a range.
