Four rallies a year out of one building in Jessup, and a lot of smaller things in between. Every one of them is capped. The list is how you hear first.
Four rallies a year, one a season, and we'd rather run those four properly than twelve badly. Every one is capped, and the good ones close before they're ever announced anywhere public. The list is the announcement.
The Season
Four rallies. One a season.
Every one of them is a drive, and every one goes somewhere different. Members get all four with no ticket. A few spots open up to the list, and that's the first place they're offered.
- Q1 End of winter
The Cold Start
The first drive of the year, and an easy one on purpose. Coffee at the facility before it's light, a morning on quiet roads while everything's still empty, and a long breakfast at the far end. Nobody's car is really ready this early in the year. That's half the fun.
- Q2 Spring
The Spring Rally
The flagship, and the one that gets out of the state. West toward the mountains and over the line into West Virginia, with a driver's meeting first and lunch somewhere worth the detour. Rally plates on every car, capped so it stays a group and not a parade.
- Q3 Summer
The Bay Run
Summer, so we start early and stay near the water. Out toward Annapolis and the bay on the roads the traffic never finds, lunch somewhere you can see the boats from, and back before the afternoon gets unpleasant.
- Q4 Fall
The Homecoming
The season finale, and close to home on purpose. A loop through the backroads north of the city while the color holds, then back to the facility for a seated dinner with the cars still in the room. Car of the Year voted by members, plus awards for the best build and the best find of the season.
Routes and dates go out a few weeks ahead, so we can follow the weather and the roads rather than a plan we made in January. Cars and coffee, member drives, track days and the odd night at the facility happen on top of these, announced as they come up. Both of those are why the list exists.
