Sell it for what
it's actually worth.

We represent owners selling collector cars. We price it with real sales data, present it properly, and handle the buyers. You stay the owner the whole way through, and you pay nothing unless it sells.

Most collector cars sell for less than they're worth. Not because the market is soft, but because the seller guessed and the buyer didn't. A private sale is one person with a number they hope is right against somebody who does this every week.

Why Us

Four things most brokers can't say.

  • 01

    Your car is already here

It's in a climate controlled building with controlled access, which means a buyer views it properly instead of in a driveway. Nothing has to be moved, insured in transit, or explained away. Cars that show well sell for more, and a car that has been stored properly shows well.

  • 02

We price it with real sales, not a guess

The Hunt is our own collector car market platform. We price your car against the sales that actually happened, with the comps attached, so the asking price has an argument behind it. That matters twice: once when you set the number, and again when a buyer tries to talk you down from it.

  • 03

We already know who wants it

Between the club, the people storing cars with us and the collectors we talk to every week, the first conversation about your car is usually with somebody we know. Plenty of cars never need to reach a public listing at all, which is the outcome most owners quietly prefer.

  • 04

You stay the owner the whole way through

We represent you. We never take title, and the car stays yours until you sign it over to a buyer you agreed to. You approve the price, you approve the offer, and you can take it off the market whenever you want.

How It Works

You decide everything.

There is no point in the process where something happens to your car without you agreeing to it first.

  1. 01

We tell you what it is worth

Before anything else, a written valuation with the comparable sales behind it. If the number is lower than you hoped, you find out now and walk away having lost nothing.

  2. 02

    You decide the number

We recommend an asking price and a floor. You set both. We never accept or counter an offer you have not agreed to.

  3. 03

    We do the work

Photography, the write up, the history assembled properly, and the car presented the way it deserves. Then the conversations, starting with the people most likely to buy it.

  4. 04

You sell it, we handle the rest

We negotiate on your behalf and coordinate inspection, payment and paperwork. You sign the title to your buyer. Our fee comes out of the sale, and only if there is one.

The Fee

Published, not negotiated.

Most brokers make you ask. Here it is, so you can decide whether we're worth talking to before you spend an afternoon finding out.

Sale price Fee Members
Under $75,000 A flat fee, because the work is the same at any price down here. Flat $4,500 Flat $3,600
$75,000 to $250,000 The band most collector cars fall into. 5% 4%
Above $250,000 The percentage drops because the effort does not rise with it. 4% 3%

You pay nothing until your car sells. No listing fee, no upfront charge, and no fee if you change your mind and keep it.

Members pay a point less on every band. On a $200,000 car that is $2,000, which is most of a year of membership recovered on a single sale. See what membership includes.

Not ready to sell?

Plenty of people want the number before they want the conversation. A standalone valuation gets you a researched value range with the comparable sales attached, for $250, and no obligation to do anything with it.

Just Tell Me What It's Worth

Questions people ask.

Do I have to store my car with you?
No. It helps, because a car we already look after is one we can show at short notice and speak about honestly. But we represent owners whose cars live elsewhere too.
What if it does not sell?
Then you have paid us nothing. We would rather tell you the market is not there than take money to list a car we cannot move.
Do you buy the car yourself?
No, and that is deliberate. A broker who might buy your car has a reason to want the price low. We only make money when you sell, at the price you agreed, which means our interest and yours point the same way.
How long does it take?
It depends entirely on the car and the number. The right buyer for a specific car sometimes appears in a week and sometimes takes a season. We will tell you which one we think you have before you commit.
Can you keep it quiet?
Yes. Plenty of owners would rather their car did not appear on a public listing with their name attached to it. We can work entirely through people we know.
What does it cost to find out what my car is worth?
If you are seriously considering selling through us, the valuation is part of the conversation. If you just want the number for your own purposes, that is the standalone valuation and it is $250.

Tell us about the car.

A conversation, not a commitment. Tell us what you've got and we'll tell you honestly whether we think we can sell it and what for. If we can't, we'll say so.
